Founding Story
Shinjitsu no Koe – meaning Voice of Truth in Japanese — was founded on a belief in the quiet power of communication that is simple, sincere, and clear.
The name reflects a guiding philosophy: that communication, when grounded in purpose and expressed with integrity, attracts the right partnerships, builds the right ecosystems, and enables transformation at scale. When exchanged with clarity, communication and dialogue do more than shape perception – they shape relationships, decisions, and outcomes.

Founded by Marlynie Moodley, an accomplished strategist and advisor to global leaders, the firm draws on a career spanning Africa, the Middle East, and Europe – including senior leadership roles at McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, Ernst & Young, Africa Finance Corporation, CrossBoundary Group and RMB Asset Management.
Her accomplishments include positioning organisations and leaders as trailblazers in their fields, leading major rebranding and narrative transformation projects, and delivering complex, multijurisdictional communications initiatives. Known for her ability to unite vision and action, Marlynie aligns communication with organisational purpose and performance – building credibility, trust, and influence across sectors.
Her experience advising CEOs, boards, and public-sector leaders shapes the firm’s approach: strategic, collaborative, and grounded in courageous conversations. Drawing on a vast network of trust-based relationships cultivated over many years, she brings people and ecosystems together, fostering partnerships that enable business growth, shared value, and meaningful change.
A thought leader, speaker, and moderator, Marlynie is often called upon to host or contribute to high-level dialogues on leadership, ethics, influence, and the evolving role of business in society – exploring how clarity and conviction can shape a more connected world.
A passionate advocate for ethical leadership, good governance, and purpose-driven business, she is recognised for her strategic foresight and commitment to high-impact, values-led results. Her work blends analytical rigour with emotional intelligence – creating engagements that build credibility, foster connection, and drive meaningful impact.
Marlynie holds a degree in Communications and Industrial Psychology and has completed various executive leadership and management programmes over the course of her career. She currently serves on the Board of Theatre Arts, a Cape Town-based NGO that has created a platform for local artists and theatre practitioners to thrive.
